Hi have a lovely velvet chaise longue that I attempted to paint with chalk paint. I saw some videos and thought it would be something I could do but it appears to have ruined the velvet and the paint just comes off on slightest touch. I love the chair. My aim was to go from pink velvet to a silver grey colour. My thoughts are now to get it upholstered if possible…
