My wife has a Mini Clubman Cooper. It has very low mileage for her age (2007). The wife loves the car so much that she wants to keep the vehicle. The bodywork is solid as you would expect from a BMW spec / build car. However, the paintwork is a Chilli Red Colour which was originally over coated with clear lacquer obviously to protect from Sun’s / UV rays. This lacquer has started peeling in places and so needs removal / full re spray and maybe a re lacquer. The use of lacquer, depending on body shop’s advice with regards to the resilience of the newer water based paints with regards to fading. There are one or two areas on front and rear bumpers which are Black in colour which will/may also require touch up. Having had a a full re spray it may be prudent to look at the wheels which could also do with a refurb. Alternatively it may be easier to simply replace with 4 new rims either steel or alloy. I trust this is sufficient info to be able to provide me with a quote and thank you for your time.
