I own 224 Muirhead Ave East Liverpool L11 1EP. I live in Chester and let the property out through Belvoir’s fully managed service. I requested they serve notice on the tenant as I wished to sell the property. The tenant moved out on 16th May and the letting Agent informed me of the mess and the fact that next door 222 Muirhead Ave East had partly constructed a two storey full width extension to the side within inches of my property. This has caused my kitchen extension, which has been there for years before I purchased the property, to subside. I was not aware of the extension and would not have given my permission. Their scaffolding is also on my property. The managing agent had obviously not carried out a condition inspection for some time blaming covid as an excuse but that is another matter which I will be pursuing through the courts. I believe a retrospective planning application is required and there is a building Application 22/0028/FP in place. No Party Wall notice has been served. I have raised an enforcement notice and called the planning department who advised me to speak to a Party Wall surveyor.
