I have a detached bungalow and I am looking to install solar panels and a heat pump. Unfortunately, the ridge line of my bungalow is oriented NbyW to SbyE, which means that my roof faces East by North, hardly the optimum for PV panels. I do have a flat garage roof at the East side which might be suitable.
