The Masonic Hall in Weston-super-Mare. We are looking for a company to provide catering services at our hall from September 1st 2022. There are 14 different groups that meet at the hall between September and June and in this period there are 74 scheduled meetings where food would be required. Our dining hall can handle up to 100 covers but in general the meeting numbers vary between 30 and 100. The meeting would require dining to be served somewhere between 8pm and 9pm and would usually be a 2 or 3 course set dinner - on some occasions there may be a 4th course and coffee. It is a set meal which is pre-booked and total number of covers would be supplied, usually around 7 days before an event. The menu for an event would be agreed between the Masonic Hall contact and the caterer and this could be from a selection of menus provided by the caterer or selected from a choice of Starters, mains and sweets again provided by the caterer The hall also has other events where food would be required such as extra meetings, charity events and private functions. The hall has a well equipped functioning kitchen with private access as well as storage facilities for the caterer. It would be the responsibility of the caterer to maintain the Kitchen to the required standards and the Masonic Hall Company Ltd will maintain, replace or repair any kitchen equipment when necessary. Waiting staff would be provided by the Masonic Hall company and will be suitability qualified and trained. Full details of the requirements can be supplied to interested parties.
