I am a 82 year old man now living alone since my wife died last year and my dog also passed a few months ago. I have very bad hips and knee having had transplants and now arthritis which make getting around more difficult. I can manage with one or sometimes two sticks or a zimmer. I currently live in a 3 bedroomed bungalow which is too big for me and I can't cope with it or the garden. I have no family living near me to help or visit on a regular basis. My requirement is only a small lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette and no stairs which I cannot manage. I seek independence and safety and if there are others to socialize with, even better. I have a small car which I can still drive from time to time, so a space for parking would also be appreciated. I need security and some kind of contact in case help is required. I am asking a neighbour to assist me with this and using their email address which I hope is acceptable.
