Hi, I would like to request a free quote for a property in Frodsham. Staining was visible to the kitchen ceiling. There was no indication of any dampness within the vicinity, and I assume repairs have been carried out to rectify the problem, but I cannot confirm this without removing parts of the structure and you should obtain further advice from a contractor. Some condensation was noted in the property, for example to the landing ceiling. Further advice should be obtained which may involve a better balance between heating and ventilation and insulation and some redecoration will be required. There may be asbestos material within the 'Artex' type finish to some of the ceilings, for example within the bathroom. This may represent a health risk and you should take care during repair, maintenance, or removal. These could be expensive. There are several minor cracks to plasterboard at joints and wall junctions. These are not of structural significance, but some repair or refilling will be needed during the course of redecoration. Lath and plaster ceilings are prone to loss of key and eventually collapse which may happen unexpectedly, and future renewal will be required.
