We are in the process of buying a house and the survey shows that there is a live woodworm infestation in the roof timbers, especially the front purlin where there is a fair amount of'frass' (fine dust) on this showing the infestation is live andcould spread further. The surveyor recommends the loft timbers should be treated by a competent woodpreservative company and a guarantee obtained. Could you please let me know how much that would cost?
