I need some help getting over my childhood. Its affecting my relationship with my girlfriend. All I know is how to express anger and hatred. I was abused both physically and mentally for 16 years. I never had any help dealing with it. I just buried and moved on. It's getting to the point now where my girlfriend is scared to be round me when I'm angry. I don't hurt her, I just get very loud. Sometimes I break things. I rang a number and who I spoke to said they feel I would benefit most from psychotherapy.
