I have a HP Pavilion g6 laptop and it seems to have stopped working properly. Whenever I try to turn it on, it says ‘preparing automatic repair’. Prior to this, it suddenly stopped connecting to the home Wi-Fi and I’ve had to use an Ethernet cable instead. It was stuck in the preparing automatic repair loop but I managed to stop that and got it working again last night. I’ve turned it on just now and it says there’s an error whenever I try to turn it on. I can’t seem to get any further than the error message.
