We have a house for sale with a conservatory. The mortgage company for the buyer carried out a survey and state in the report:- "The property is affected by structural movement to the conservatory. A full report must be obtained from a Structural Engineer/Chartered Building Surveyor (acceptable qualifications as defined by The Mortgage Works), together with an estimate for the cost of repairs." So we need a report and an estimate of any repair costs.
