Closed Problem with current adt alarm

We currently have an adt alarm but we do not have the monitoring any more. This morning we had continual intermitent beeping. We tried ringing ADT who said there was a problem with the system and to call local engineer. We have currently unplugged the battery to stop the beeping. Any help and quote would be appreciated.
