I’m enquiring about residential availability on behalf of my mother who is 89 and currently lives in Dorset. I live in Battle and I’m my mother’s next of kin. There are no other family or friends near her so I’m concerned for her safety and well being. She has lived independently until a week ago when she fell and is now in hospital and waiting to be transferred to a rehab unit after a particular hip replacement. She won’t able to manage without assistance when she leaves rehab so this is why I’m enquiring about sheltered living for her.
