I want to subdivide a large room in my house with a dry lined wall. Must be sound insulated to a high standard and include one doorway. Not sure whether to use timber studding or metalwork. Sound insulation between the 2 rooms is particularly important. The partition will be 3.3m high x 5m wide including doorway. Electrics within the room will also need altering to suit i.e.. lights and power points.
