We had a small extension built about 15 years ago and realise That bullding regulations were not checked. The extn is 2x5 mtrs single storey Would you carry out samples of wall, foundations , etc , when we contact the council.

What is the intended purpose of the report? Will you arrange for the various concealed elements of the extension to be exposed for inspection? Have you had any feedback from Build g Control yet?
    David Bell, posted on Monday 15 December 2014 We did not complete a building plan. I can draw a sketch of the area. I canmake some plan drawing. We have not yet contacted the council. At the time we thougbt the builder had applied for bldg regs. We now wouldlike to put the house up for sale after 23 years here. If things need opening up thats fine. I would nee d guidance on how to do it or get someone to do the work.
