My hp laptop will not switch on, I believe it needs a battery replacement?

    Teamwild Pc Solutions, posted on Thursday 26 August 2021 Hi Maisy, your laptop should still switch on if you have it plugged into the mains and switched on. You can remove the battery completely and it should still switch on if powered. Try removing the battery and power supply then pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds - you will see nothing happen. Now plug back into the mains and try the power button again. If you are lucky, it may spring to life.
