Hi, I am hopeful you can help me. I live in Eldersfield GL19 4NP. I need a structural engineer for a site visit and to make an assessment, providing a weight bearing report for the below: Presently 2 x entrances, supported by concrete lintels , that we have questions whether they are fit for purpose. They may need replacing if the preferred option is not feasible. Preferred option: to open the entrance between the 2 rooms, with lintels (steel, 1 or 2 tbc) to support, which is an old chimney stack. Can you help? If so, could this be undertaken next week please (week commencing 23rd August). We can make ourselves available any day from 0700 – 1900. In anticipation, many thanks Maurice
