My porch is at least 60 years old. The slate roof has leaked from time to time and has been repaired with varying degrees of success. With torrential downpours becoming more frequent, the quantity of rain getting through has increased dramatically. The roof is no longer fit for purpose and looks dreadful. I would like all the slates removed so that the underlying timber can be inspected, then a new slate, or slate substitute, roof installed. I have photographs, but they won't upload to this page.
