painting measures 37cm x 56cm on card, require mounting with white slip with black frame (scene of farmland in Oxfordshire during harvest time) suggest white slip 22" x 32" behind glass As painting is acrylic protecting paintwork from touching glass by using sufficiently thick slip of 1.5mm ..........please advise. trimming of slip if advised so as not to 'swamp' the painting???
