  Hi My 94yr old mother is resident at Elmwood Care Home, Oakwood, LS8 and broke her hip in March this year which was fitted with a screw. She then underwent another operation on the 23rd June to remove the screw as it had moved and take the Ball off the Ball & Socket Joint to make everything less painful for her. She was discharged from hospital on Wednesday 7th July back to Elmwood. The hospital physios have been trying to get her to be able to transfer from Bed to Chair & Visa Versa using her Zimmer Frame and using the techniques they have shown her and I am trying to find a physio that would be able to continue this with her at Elmwood care Home.Read more
