Hello my name is Elizabeth Boyle and I'm a single mother and 24-7-365 full time caregiver to my 26year old son Dale who has numerous health issues. About 23years ago Dale went on a placebos trial for 5mg capsules of melatonin under the watch of now retired Doctor Robert McWilliams of the then Sick Kids Hospital at Yorhhill, GLASGOW SCOTLAND. Dale has been mostly on this drug since then but over the years he went through phases when it just didn't work for him and through my health visitor from the hospital we discovered the brand of melatonin had been changed so through the hospital and my GP Surgery Dale was finally back on the Penn Brand of Melatonin but even though this was stipulated that only to give him this twice more he was given other brands AS the pharmacy said Penn was to expensive so as you probably gather that's the reason for changing our pharmacy over the years but I'm again in the position after 5+ years with my now pharmacy saying that they can no longer get Dale's Penn Brand Melatonin Capsules just the ordinary one's( their words not mine) so I guess what I'm asking is this drug no longer available permanently or is it because of our pandemic status that you need all available resources to manufacture for this? I would really appreciate it if you could let me know if and when or how I can access this drug for my son when you get a chance AS I do appreciate that you are all extremely busy at this very difficult time I look forward to hearing from you Please all take care and keep safe I thank you all sincerely for all that your doing to help elevate this pandemic.
