    My Moody 29 is on a swinging mooring in Itchenor Reach and the BUKH DV20 engine won’t start. The head has been skimmed, valves replaced and ground so I have been advised by BUKH UK Ltd that the problem is likely to be lack of compression I.e. it’s an engine out job. I am considering purchasing a used replacement engine or repair of existing but I need someone to tow the boat to their place of work, remove the exiting engine and reinstall a working replacement.Read more
