  The job to be done, is for the Attic of the house to be converted into another room/office, with a set of stairs coming down from the attic to the room underneath. In the loft there is currently no proper flooring, a small window (from when it was first built in 1955/6) half insulated on one side of the roof, however left untouched on the otherside. Finally there is a big wooden pillar right down the centre of the attic, of which I believe goes all the way through the building to the bottom of the house. A final thing I wish to mention is that there is a partial supply of electricity to the Attic area, but I would like to convert it so that there is a full supply of it to the whole room, with multiple sockets. I do not have the full specs of the house, but would be willing to have someone to come and take a look for themselves before starting the job.Read more
