    Hi there, i am looking for a quote for the decoration of 1 room. although i was wondering if maybe i could have a ballpark figure first. i have no idea how much it costs to decorate a room at all and i wouldn't want to waste your time to come out and look at it all if its already more expensive then what i imagine. the work would be for a room sized 8 foot by 12 foot and usual ceiling height i would need glossing of skirting, the liner paper stripped down and changed and also the room painting. i would love to have the ceiling smoothed over too, it is of some strange stippled effect airtex, or a false smooth one put up but i know that is already beyond my budget. my husband left me 2 weeks ago after 15 years of marriage and this room was his “man cave” i cant go in there without crumpling so for me to go in and try to decorate to get his memory out of there is impossible as it reminds me of him, its a never ending circle so i need someone else to come in and change it so i can go in there again. he also decided to leave me quite a large debt he had run up in my name and has disappeared to America with his new girlfriend who lives out there and getting back what he owes is not going to happen sadly. so i dont have much left over so a ballpark guestimate would let me know if there was any where near what i could afford before i ask someone to come out and quote it properly.Read more
