I have had a skin condition for nearly 5 years, which manifests itself as raised, itchy burning lumps that are Over sensitive as if there were something sharp inside & surrounding the area. Often the area would break causing severe lesions that would itch & leak watery fluid. I have removed, single ingrown hairs, multiple minute transparent pin like structures; these are the most painful as I can feel the sensation of them festering beneath the skin to the point I cannot bare to touch the area, thread like structures that a almost invisible but long & stretchy/elasticated & blue, black &/or brown fibres/debris & tiny rice shaped ‘thing’ (1/4 of the size of a single grain of rice) which have only appeared on my face & chest. My whole body is covered, other than stomach. I have seen 5 dermatologists each with a No Idea diagnosis but offering a variety of antibiotics creams & lazer hair removal. The lazer hair removal was effective as decreasing the amount of new hair growth but was ceased due to another Too Dermatologist suggestion it was not a solution as it was a psychological manifestation & so was stopped someway through. Personally I have searched for answers & come across Morgellons disease which has All of the same symptoms & outcomes & images; but has Not yet been recognised by Dermatologist as a bonefide condition, but again ‘one that is ‘all in your head’… But if so many people suffer from the same symptoms & visually it looks Exactly the same… how can it be ‘made up’??? I’m going crazy with this never ending, never completely mending illness.. I am covered in brown scars, lumps raised scar tissue.. it’s embarrassing it bleeds & it’s ugly & distressing. I have lost 5 years of my life, & confidence.. please help.Read more
