We have swapped out old integrated electric oven for a Candy gas oven (Typ/mod G6OS TIGG410TC) When it was delivered by Currys the fitter said he was not allowed to connect it because of its specification (something to do with the connection hose needing to connect to the gas pipe above the cooker?). They have left the product with us, but it doesn't seem to slide completely into the cavity (We noticed that it did not sit flush with the attachment flange meeting the wooden sides of the cavity (where the connection screws are supposed to be fitted). We slid the oven out to see if there was an obstruction behind it and noticed that there was a sort of plug adaptation fitted to the rear of the oven which prevents the oven sliding all the way into the cavity - about one centimetre more space needed). Can you fit the cooker (perhaps a small section of plaster can be removed from the wall behind the cooker to accommodate that square plastic plug) And - how much would you charge for fitting?Read more
