    I have a very small and previously neglected garden. Since moving here to my new flat, I have found that the garden to be a quiet haven. The size is approx 6 m x6 m. It is protected from the wind and is like a sun trap on a bright day. Old paving slabs and some old tree roots need removing. The ground needs to be levelled. A base for a summer house to be laid. The idea of country cottage design is appealing with a few trees, shrubs and raised beds. Maybe an area of meadow-flower turf and a small paved area and path.     Back of garden which is mostly cleared need some sort of area made on the gravel to have a seating area for table and chairs . Trees overhead from garden backing onto so possibly not decking. Have a horrible centre piece of stone and mud which looks like an old fish pond no water in it but it needs to be either covered in and made good or dug out completely and smoothed for a lawn.
