  I’ve just had my vauxhall Astra 1.4t 2010 head gasket replaced as one of the coolant pipes blew causing the engine to over heat. It’s had loads of work done to it including a head skim, new thermostat housing, New timing chain etc coming to around £1300 in repairs and labor cost. The engine runs fine but it sound like it’s misfiring and whenever I put my foot down it looses power and Jults a lot (sounds like a Subaru). The exhaust has also snapped so there’s a huge exhaust leak. The engine light comes on when it’s idling but goes away after the engine warms up.Read more
