Need a earth wire fitted to the gas meter as I understand it is needed because having a smart meter for the gas and electric it seems now that this has to be done according to the regulations that are now in force. The contactor who fitted the new gas meter so he could get the smart meter to work left a card saying it needed the earth wire due to regulations 1994?so even though I am the tenant don't think the landlady will pay for the work to be done.Read more
