My names Joanna Belchamber, im writing on behalf of my partner Kevin Palmer; currently serving a sentence and we need some advise on sentence appealing please. My partner was sentenced 9th december 2020, his release date is 9th april 2022. he was placed in a prison in which he spent most of the time in complete isolation due to covid. he contracted covid once, and has been moved 7/8 times from lewes to rochester. (for court) which were normally ajourned and he would be moved back knowing they would be bringing him back soon? every single time he moves he is supposed to do 10 days self isolation and this 10 days turns into weeks!!! my partner suffers with PTSD and has frontal lobe damage due to an attack! this is absolute hell for him and is so detrimental to his mental health. they arent giving him his medication. weve been to several court cases since he has been imprisoned. they would move him from rochester to lewes, for court on a wednesday for example.. and then move him back to rochester from lewes.. even though he may have to be moved straight back for another case that same week. he has done 90% of his sentence only leaving the cell for shower every 3 days and 20 mins exercise! he also was not rewarded an extra 10% off his original sentence due to covid, and everyone else did? is there anyway you can help us!!
