    My Akai GX265D reel to reel machine need some attention. I would like to bring it at its glorious days. Playback is ok (not perfect), one channel is lower than the other one, recording is very bad, manny "clicks and cracks" insted music, the electrolytic capacitors must be replaced, replacing the transistors or re soldering if need it, some background sound from power supply, proper heads alignment,cleaning potentiometers and switchers. I can provide genuine service manual with schematic drawings and full parts list, a multi frequency test tape. I will do by my own mechanical service, meaning cleaning and lube the motors, cleaning and lube all mechanical movement, rotating, sliding parts.Read more
