  I have three, probably not very valuable, mantel clocks which I like but which need attention: 1) Slate with Japy Freres movement – runs very slow & strikes the wrong numbers! 2) Slate with similar but unmarked movement. “S H Osmond, 118 St Aldates, Oxford” – recently stopped running after some years. 3) ?1920’s French marble with similar unmarked movement- also stopped running.
