  I am 70 years old and have a bad back due to compressed vertebrae squeezing a nerve, for a couple of years. I have had injections in my back but these were not successful for long. An operation to file the bones and make more space seems dangerous. Recently, in the last couple of months my back has been worse, causing me pain day and night, preventing deep sleep and causing me to walk badly ( I already have a right knee problem from an old sports injury) I am a pensioner of limited means but need to find some successful treatment to make my once active life worth living again.
