I’m looking for a chiropractor, I have suffered with lower back pain for 4-5 years now, but the pain has become more chronic in the last 2-3 years and doesn’t go away. I have recently had to give up my job working in a care home as I can no longer physically do it anymore. I worked there for 5.5years. I was working as a domestic in the care home which required to lift heavy deliveries hand ball them into the home off the pallets, move hospital beds sometimes with patients in to clean behind, lots of bending, lifting and reaching high. January 2019 (after a year of contacting the doctor) my doctor prescribed me naproxen and codeine (low dosage) but I’m still in pain a year and a half after - the painkillers don’t relieve the pain I also was referred to a physiotherapist but again I do not feel this helped. So the doctor then referred to me the hospital for a MRI scan and the results came back as wear and tear but then nothing more has been done I’m just constantly in pain I feel the doctor is just pushing pain killers into me, yet they do not help. It’s affects a lot of every day tasks, carrying 2bags of food shopping for a short walk aggravates it, loading the washing machine, getting in and out of the bath sometimes I struggle with also. I’m 32 and I feel miserable due to being in pain all day, it is affecting my sleep and my hips are now starting to hurt too. If any more information is required you can reach me.
