Hi, I need some help installing an amplifier power lead in my car. I cannot find a good point to get the power cable through the firewall on my Honda Civic Hatchback 2010. I'm sure it exists but I have no way to lift the car to get a good view. I plan to: - keep the headunit - connect it via 2 LOCs to the amplifier in the trunk (or under passenger seat) - route signal wire alongside the 4 RCAs - from the amp route speaker wire (plus crossover for the front speakers) back to the headunit location and to the subwoofer under the driver’s seat - have a distribution block probably hidden under the passenger seat so it’s close to the subwoofer as well. This plan will maintain almost all of the original cabling and prevent the use of another signal wire to the subwoofer. However the main issue remains the amp power lead to the battery.
