Outline Work Brief. Please refer to the accompanying photographs for an overview. The following outline is meant as a guide only and doesn’t include all items which need attention. EN SUITE SHOWER CUBICLE – REPLACE. Dimensions of recess: 230cm (height from floor to ceiling) x 75cm (deep) x 75cm (wide). A new door, basic mixer-tap and shower tray with fascia will certainly need to be installed along with new tiles within the cubicle. Secondarily, a small number of new tiles (to match the new cubicle tiles) would need to be installed above an existing hand basin. SHOWER CUBICLE – REFURBISH OR REPLACE. Refurbish or replace existing shower cubicle. Dimensions of recess: 230cm (height from floor to ceiling) x 75cm (deep) x 75cm (wide). Much of the existing tiling may usable, although a few of the existing tiles have split and others will need resetting. A new door, basic mixer tap and shower tray with fascia will certainly need to be installed. KITCHEN Replace four existing kitchen work surfaces. Also install, as part of the same work, a new steel sink unit (existing sink unit 47.5 cm wide x 97.5 cm long) with matching mixer tap and a gas or electric hob (existing gas hob 50cm wide x 58cm long). Dimensions of existing surfaces: (Surface 1) 4cm (deep) x 60cm (wide) x 131cm (long); (Surface 2 to include Sink) 4cm (deep) x 60cm (wide) x 261cm (long) and (Surface 3 to include Hob) 4cm (deep) x 60cm (wide) and 205cm (long); and (Surface 4) 4cm (deep) x 60cm (wide) x 140cm (long). INSTALL A NEW SINK AND MIXER TAP Install a new kitchen sink and mixer tap to replace the existing unit. Dimensions: 97.5cm long x 47 cm wide. Under the draining-board part of the existing sink is removable freezer unit. INSTALL A NEW GAS HOB Install a new gas hob to replace the existing unit.
