  We have planning permission for 94 homes and a commercial building on a 4.5ha site at Newport, Essex. The buildings are all "zero energy" designed by Bill Dunster OBE of Zedfactory. The developer which is Sir Arthur Ellis Will Ltd is presently dealing with the pre-start conditions which are likely to absorb up to another six months. Groundworks are intended to begin in early summer with Phase 1 (the commercial building intended initially as a storage and construction unit plus an intended 18 homes) to be erected by the Autumn.
