Our house is dangerous, as we had a builder around who removed load-bearing walls, chimney breast etc. without giving sufficient support for the structures above. We were advised to hire an engineer to design the lintels etc needed and supervise the remedial works. Will need a reputable builder to do them works, too.Read more

I have cracks that I saw yesterday after the high windows. About 2pm I heard a large noise and went out to investigate. I had double grazed windows placed in 4 years ago. The cracks are in the surrounding brick work. The windows are at the front facing south west and the winds yesterday were from the south west and gusting to 40+ mph.Read more
