Old Laser 16 dinghy storm-battered, named 'Bluebell' and parked in Morston by the NT hut. Snapped stay = mast breaking loose and snapping off half the metal base that holds the mast to the hul (photo available)l. I would like to know (a) is this can be repaired/replaced (b) if it would be possible to 'service' the boat -- clean it up, replace any necessary metal and rope work on the mast, re-varnish rudder and wooden back plate &c. Owner has been ill for a year and unable to attend to the boat's needs.Read more
