I have a Smart Roadster Coupe 2003 and there seem to be an inadequate charge to the battery although through the cigarette lighter it shows a charge of 14.3 volts. When the car is not used the battery drains over a period of 4 weeks. I suspect a short which might account for the following issue........... There is a fault with the light switch stalk in that when the car is running and I move from park lights to low beam the high beam comes on as well as the windscreen wipers. I'm able to stop the wipers by pulling the light stalk to low beam position but still have both low beam and high beam on. I've cleaned all the contacts on the SAM unit and it still does the same all over again. I cannot get low beam only. Thank you Les CronkRead more
