    auxillary ignition items either stay on or come back on,(radio/mileage lcd ) is intermittent so when it happens lcds stay on side lights will stay on even if ignition off will have no warning alarms or all will work right with radio going off with ignition then the clock lcd and mileage lcd will go out after ten mins ish but they come back on again(usually leave radio manual off) they will stay on on it will just flit between fault no fault so on off on off have seen an electrician who disputed my garage saying cluster so done ignition bypass switch no, fuse box/wires bypass switch he said fuse box, tried a diff one not fuse box "cluster for def( a diff cluster been tried and told the fault did clear but wrong display(enough to test with)The guy who has been dealing with is sure not wires but at this stage can't believe anything any more as people also keep throwing more possibilities into the mix, sent off to be repaired a fault obviously found, said fixed, got back, put back same as, still faulty, currently waiting for it to flip out to remove cluster and see if stops it but I may be looking at wanting a full global scan IDS so anyone with full diagnostic tools ,seeing as I am sick of the it's this, this no this, and on limited income and up to 200 to still have fault still, hit me with a quote please, ford focus mkII 05 plate normal key ignition, also alternator was found faulty middle pin bust they cleaned all the plug out(poss suspect though the whole cable?) will update on my cluster removal test if needs be(is loose so I can remove myself)ThanksRead more
