  I have a MK5 Vauxhall Astra VXR and I believe it has developed a CIM fault as the horn has stopped working. I tried checking the fuse and it was good and I checked the horn's plug and it was okay, I got it to work a few weeks ago and it was sounding everytime I touched the horn however it has stopped working again and I tried to get it to work again by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it didn't work. I am not 100% sure it is a CIM fault however I've read up on the symptoms that being faulty horn, steering wheel controls not always working and refusing to start, of the 3 it has the inactive horn and the steering wheel controls do not work very well, however it starts fine. I have looked into doing it myself however I would prefer someone who knows what they're looking at to do it. Thanks for reading, Luke.Read more
