  I am an experienced building consultant having been employed as a contracts manager by contractors including AMEC, Costain, David McLean and Balfour Beatty and a director in consultants including Capita Symonds, Gleeds, MACE and my own practice. Currently I live in Spain and plan to return to the UK as soon as possible after the current virus problems are resolved. I am planning to buy a plot of land within 15 miles of Conway for around £75k and build a 2/3 bed bungalow on it for around £100k. I want a dining kitchen with an Aga style hot water boiler and folding sliding doors overlooking the garden. The external walls should be in multi-rustic facings; windows, external doors, soffits and fascias in PVC. The pitched roof should incorporate Velux style windows to provide daylight in the corridor and possibly in the kitchen.Read more
