Hello, I have an Alder tree in my garden which is approx. 100 years old. The tree leans toward the East which has been the same or similar for the past 22 years since I`ve lived here. However, this past 12 months, holes have begun to appear on the trunk and I`m wondering if it`s dying and if the tree might fall over as a consequence. I`ve been advised to ask a certified Arborist to take a look...…..hence the e-mail.
