    Hi guys, I'm looking for an accountant to help a new, Leicester-based Community Interest Company - 7events. 7events is a small, local organisation, established a few years ago to carry out charitable, health and wellbeing projects, largely for members of Leicester's South Asian communities (https://www.7events.org). Annual turnover is, ordinarily, less than £10,000/year. We have no paid staff but we do have about 12-15 volunteers that we use, from time to time, on various events. Last year, in March 2020, we took the decision to formalise what we do and become a Community Interest Company. Regrettably, due to Covid, we had to 'mothball' all our activities from March 2020 until now. Now Covid restrictions have been lifted, we're hoping to get started again over the next few weeks, beginning with a few showings of a Lottery-funded film we've made about alcoholism in South Asian communities. Unfortunately, since we became a CIC, our Corporation Tax responsibilities have become clearer to us, and we think we now have to submit not one, but two returns to HMRC! To be honest, we're really confused about all this and were wondering if you might be able to offer us an accountancy service so we can get these returns into HMRC and then get ourselves up-and-running on the right footing?     Could you please give me some idea of the costs to prepare accounts for my wife and myself? We are both retired and have some private pensions and 3 rental properties.
