They service and repair all domestic appliances including cookers, hobs, dishwashers, washing machines & tumble Dryers.

Cylex 1. What types of appliances does Cox Domestics service?

Cox Domestics: Cox Domestics now service all types of appliances and have engineers with 30+ years of experience. We fix all domestic white goods including washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers etc. Cox Domestics also fix vacuum cleaners, upright Hoovers and steamers. Recent developments has opened up even more opportunities with joining Coventry Repair Centre @ Cox Domestics and includes fixing Computers, laptops, TVs, Mobile Phones etc.

Cylex 2. Do you buy or sell New or Used Appliances?

Cox Domestics: Cox Domestics retail a range of New, Graded and Secondhand Appliances from our shop and our website. We can also collect an old appliance for free recycling within our service areas, terms apply because we have to consider the carbon footprint of collecting an appliance and to recycle the appliance correctly.

Cylex 3. How do I know if my appliance is worth repairing?

Cox Domestics: Many of our customers have told us in the past that they had not considered repairing an appliance and instead purchase a brand new replacement. Cox Domestics would like to advise any customer to call us to discuss the fault before purchasing a new replacement. Our call out charges are from £25 and includes an engineers report which can be used for insurance claims or claims under warranty etc.

Cylex 4. What appliance brands do you work on?

Cox Domestics: Cox Domestics has been running since 1992 and has serviced and or repaired almost every brand of appliance including hoovers and vacs. Cox Domestics has made a commitment to our customers because service matters to us and we pride ourselves on getting the job done with five out of five service standards.

Cylex 5. If you do have to order a part, how long will it take?

Cox Domestics: Parts for appliances can vary because of the age of the appliance but in general we can normally fix the appliance within two visits. If there is a problem with parts we always inform the customer and when required we can loan the customer an appliance until either the part arrives or the customer decides they want to replace the appliance. Parts for appliances always have different prices and can sometimes be as much as a new appliance which may not be cost effective for the customer and is one of the reasons we keep a huge amount of spares.

Cylex 6. What is your warranty policy?

Cox Domestics: We provide a warranty on all of repairs. All new parts have a standard 12 month warranty. Our terms and conditions have more details on our warranty policy for servicing, repairs and sales.

Cylex 7. Do I need an appointment to get a repair done?

Cox Domestics: Cox Domestics offer a standard weekly diary where appointments can be made for call outs but we can normally help either on a same day service or next day service. We also offer an emergency call out service for £49 and includes an engineers report. Cox Domestics can help when other companies cannot and can offer advice over the telephone when needed.
