Unethical and unprofessional e had an offer accepted on a property marketed by Anton's. The offer was accepted and our mortgage offer was confirmed and our solicitors were just waiting to sign the missives. Our solicitor sent us a copy of of the qualified acceptance letter which contained a strange letter from Anton's which stated that they were going to continue to actively market the property even though our offer had been accepted. As there wasn't much we could do about this we continued on with the process of buying the property. To our dismay, just as we were about to sign the missves, we received an email from our solicitor advising that the seller had accepted another offer. We feel that if Anton's had not continued to actively market the property this would not have happened. I would not recommend anyone attempt to buy a property marketed by this agent unless they want to be treated like this and end up out of pocket to boot. Anton's have proved themselves to be a highly unprofessional and very unethical estate agents. I have mentioned our situation to other estate agents and solicitors and they were absolutely appalled by the behaviour of Anton's. Deal with this company at your peril. silversea
