The house, set in three acres of ground, is built on a headland above Loch Broom, within easy reach of the fishing village of Ullapool, just over an hour by car north-west of Inverness. The house was designed to offer panoramic views in three directions: six miles east up Loch Broom to the Ben Dearig mountain range, west towards the open sea with the Summer Isles and Outer Hebrides beyond, and also across the majestic loch to the Scoraig peninsula managed by the National Trust for Scotland.
