Most of the rooms have been re-decorated over the past year and many have new soft furnishings to compliment the decor. The new suite has been slightly delayed due to my overoptimistic understanding of the planning regulations but should be completed later this year. The good news is that I was able to purchase an Art Deco bedroom suite from The Savoy Hotel sale. The new room will be known as The Savoy Suite. Obviously, the theme of the room will be Art Deco. The entrance to the hotel is being changed so that you arrive at the front of the hotel and go through the main house rather than the old system of arriving at the back of the hotel. The AA and various guests have suggested this alteration and, at great expense, I am happy to oblige. It seems the customer is often right. Opening Times: Monday-Friday 7.15am – 9am Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 8.15am – 9.30am
