Our stage school was founded in 1932 by Betty Fox. We offer training in various disciplines of dance, drama and vocal training for children from 3 years to young adults. We offer the 3 hour block of performing arts. Each class is 1 hour duration (apart from the Infants Class which is a 2 hour class and cannot be split). It is preferable to study the 3 hours, in-order to obtain “the all round experience” for auditions, performance and confidence. Tap is a rhythmic dance involving specific shoes allowing the wearer to create sound in a fun and exciting way. Tap will build upon your child’s musicality, co-ordination and confidence. The syllabus taught has been designed to increase upon precision and timing and nationally recognised exams can be taken.
Being raised in a family that has a strong dance Background, I have been dancing for as long as I can remember. Firstly being taught by my Grandparents at Frome Dance Centre and then going on to attend, Pattisons School of Performing Arts in Coventry where I completed a three year Musical Theatre Course, attaining 5 teaching Associates in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre and National, My Qualifications are with the International Dance Teachers Association and The Imperial Society Teachers Of Dance.
